[nerd]Yep, 180g was never very light back in the day. The Answer Hyperlite was significantly lighter and pretty strong. 130g was certainly pushing it though. Renthal did in fact have an MTB way before then though, on the Pace RC100 circa 1989[/nerd] When I was 19 I lived with my parents or away at uni, had a part time job and as such was able to spend more money on bike bits that I do at 39 years of age and working in the bike industry! Taiwanese stuff is always going to be cheaper than Canadian product. I've got a stem made in Whistler, and one made in New Westminster (and this one for sale). I can't get excited over most Taiwanese and Chinese book products, but by all means to Caps and buy a 'Spank' stem! About Us
